Fujitsu has teamed up with the INESA Group, a major state-owned company in China with over fifty years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, to create the Smart Manufacturing Project. The purpose of the project is to help China achieve its “Made in China 2025” plan, which aims to boost the country’s manufacturing competitiveness. Fujitsu and INESA have been working on turning a plant owned by INESA Display Materials, an INESA Group company that manufactures color filters for liquid crystal displays, into a smart factory. The system chosen to visually represent efficiency throughout the plant was the Fujitsu Enterprise Application Intelligent Dashboard.
